Annual 6-year MD or MD/PhD program costs

Important note: Due to the progressive drop in exchange rate of USD to Polish Złoty the University had to convert all tuititions and related costs to PLN (Polish Zloty) to ensure that the total cost of program is fully covered. PLN was taken into account in calculation of cost of studies more than a year ago. You can use the currency calculator in the sidebar to convert from PLN to your own currency.

Tuition fees and accomodation costs per annum for the six year medical program are as follows:

First year students:

  • Non-refundable admission fee: 2,000 PLN (payable before the start of the academic year; the entire sum must be posted to the GMU account no later than 10 days before matriculation)
  • The one-week orientation course fee of 1000 PLN per person does not cover living costs. This fee is to be paid before the beginning of the program directly to one of GMU's accounts no later than August 15th of the academic year in which the student begins the program.
  • Tuition fees: 42,000 PLN

Second to sixth year students:

  • Tuition (per annum): 33,000 PLN

Document fees:

  • The course of studies- for a single year $5
  • The course of studies- for 6 years of Faculty of Medicine $30

  • Student ID card duplicate $3
  • Student book duplicate (for every single year) $5
  • Student Register of Hospital Training and Practical Skills $2

Please also note the following:

  • Additional fees for living in residence (dormitories) to be paid directly to the MUG bank account in Polish currency (PLN).
  • Tuition and residence fees are subject to change on an annual basis, though any increases shall be limited to a maximum of 5% over the previous year's fees.
  • In the event of a student's resignation from their studies, GMU shall deduct any administrative fees and operational costs incurred from their tuition fees.

Accomodation costs for staying in residence are to be paid monthly to the GMU's bank account and due at the start of every month, to be paid no later than by the 10th of the month.

The Overseas Admission Office is autorized to accept a deposit of $1000 (1000 USD) from every applicant as a guarantee of their intent to begin studies at the GMU. The OAO will return this deposit no later than November 30th. In the event of the student's resignation, this deposit will not be refunded.
